After two years of moves, you’re looking for somewhere to plant. We get it. This is a quick look at what life in Utah Valley could look like for your family — the practice, three neighborhoods built for raising young kids, schools, what Caitlin’s career looks like in Silicon Slopes, and the ski / boating / golf access we know matters to you.
Stability, ASC partnership, and a family-first metro area. A few things that stood out reading through your background.
Revere’s foot & ankle program runs across four campuses with shared OR access. Each card links to the clinic’s page.
All commutable to the clinics, all in great school districts, all with quick access to the things you actually do on weekends.
Mountainside master-planned community on the benches above Lehi. Caitlin would be five minutes from the heart of Silicon Slopes with her pick of tech employers. The neighborhood has its own elementary inside the boundaries (Traverse Mountain Elementary, Alpine District), a community pool, splash pad, parks, and trail access right from your street. Heavy young-family demographic. Closest neighborhood to the AF clinic.
Up against the base of Mt. Timpanogos. American Fork Canyon from your driveway means skiing at Sundance, hiking, biking, and camping are all 10 minutes away. Quieter than Lehi, larger lots, mature trees. Lone Peak High is one of the strongest school feeders in the state. Mountain Ridge Junior High and Alpine Elementary are both highly rated. Highland is the more family-focused side, Alpine has the older established estate feel. Either works.
The state’s fastest-growing large city for several years running. Sits right on Utah Lake with marina access, beaches, and reservoir activity at your doorstep. Newer construction means newer schools, newer parks, and more young families than anywhere else on the list. Best value play of the three — you get newer, larger homes for less. Harvest Hills and Wander are the marquee neighborhoods. Both clinics are a straightforward I-15 commute.
Your two and five-year-old will be going to elementary in any of these neighborhoods. Alpine School District serves all three options above and is consistently top-three in the state.
The Lehi-to-Sandy corridor is the second-largest tech hub in the US. Software project managers are in active demand across hundreds of companies, from public giants to fast-growing SaaS startups. If you live in Lehi, she could literally walk to dozens of these offices. If you’re in Highland or Saratoga, she’s 10 minutes from any of them.
You sent us a list. Here’s how each one looks within an hour of the neighborhoods above.
